Would you please interpret the “Additional Work Commitment” in the Terms of Reference more clearly? Specifically, a general work scope of the term “Additional Work Commitment” will be really appreciated. We know the exploration/development workloads themselves are included in the “Additional Work Commitment”, but we are still not sure whether or not all the correlative constructions can be regarded as “Additional Work Commitment”? For example, could we regard the construction of the pipeline from Sheberhgan to Kabul or the pipeline to Keleft as one kind of “Additional Work Commitment”?

Additional work commitments only include drilling new wells and shooting new seismic, as specified in the Terms of Reference, in particular in article 3.8.2 Minimum Work Programme and Work Units (WU).

The WU equivalents are defined as follows:

1 well = 1,000 WU
1km 2D seismic* = 0.5 WU
1km2 3D seismic* = 1.5 WU
1 well work-over = 333 1/3 WU

Work on G&G studies, magnetometry, seismic reprocessing, etc. is not counted as Work Programme. Note: *New seismic survey acquisition, processing and interpretation
